Sukoshi Mart is a prominent North American lifestyle retailer specializing in curated Japanese and Korean beauty products, stationery, and snacks, targeting a trend-conscious demographic that values accessibility and high-quality “small joys.” Operating as a high-density retail environment, the brand faces the distinct challenge of organizing an extensive SKU count—often consisting of small-scale cosmetics and intricate stationery—within a compact, vibrant space. The primary spatial obstacles involve maximizing space utilization through vertical merchandising while maintaining a fluid circulation path to accommodate high foot traffic. Furthermore, the fixtures must facilitate a clear display logic that differentiates between diverse product categories while ensuring material uniformity across all units to reinforce a cohesive, minimalist brand expression that is both durable and visually engaging. To address these requirements, we provided an end-to-end technical solution, beginning with design engineering and high-precision shop drawings to define the structural parameters of each modular unit. Our team conducted intensive prototyping and sample development to validate the integration of specialized acrylic dividers and high-CRI LED lighting within custom shelving. Through value engineering, we optimized material selection to ensure structural integrity and finish durability while maintaining cost-efficiency across large-scale deployments. During fixture fabrication, we focused on bespoke center-floor gondolas and integrated wall systems, followed by rigorous quality control and pre-shipment inspection. By overseeing the project from technical development to final delivery and providing comprehensive rollout support, we transformed the retail floor into an optimized, high-performance environment. The resulting interior features a streamlined layout and an intuitive display system, providing a significantly more efficient restocking workflow for staff and a unified, professional brand experience for every guest.
