Party Expert is a leading specialty retailer in Canada providing an extensive range of party supplies, costumes, and seasonal decorations, catering to a diverse demographic planning events from private celebrations to large-scale festivities. Operating as a high-density, high-volume retail environment, the brand faces specific spatial challenges, primarily the need to organize an immense variety of SKUs—ranging from delicate balloons and small accessories to bulky costume packaging—within a cohesive display logic. In such a vibrant space, optimizing the circulation path is critical to managing high foot traffic, while the fixtures must maximize space utilization through vertical merchandising without overwhelming the customer experience. Furthermore, the retail environment requires a sophisticated storage system that facilitates rapid restocking, demanding high-durability surfaces that can withstand the high-wear nature of a seasonal, high-touch retail service. To address these operational requirements, we provided a comprehensive technical solution, starting with meticulous design engineering and the development of high-precision shop drawings to define the structural parameters of each unit. Our team conducted a prototyping phase to validate the multi-material integration of reinforced metal frames and decorative high-pressure laminates, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and load-bearing capacity. During fixture fabrication, we focused on modular wall-mounted slatwall systems and bespoke center-floor gondolas, specifically engineered with versatile hooks and adjustable tiers to accommodate seasonal product shifts. Every component underwent a multi-stage quality control and pre-shipment inspection process to guarantee material uniformity across the entire facility. By managing the project from technical development through to final delivery, we transformed the retail floor into an optimized, high-performance environment.
