Heartwood Nail Spa is a premium wellness destination in Omaha, offering professional nail care and spa treatments within a warm, wood-accented clinical environment. In a high-traffic service space of this nature, the primary spatial challenge lies in integrating complex plumbing and electrical systems within custom cabinetry while maintaining a clean, organic aesthetic. Typically, nail spas face issues with material degradation due to chemical exposure and the need for a highly organized storage system for a vast array of polish collections and sanitary tools. Furthermore, optimizing the circulation path is essential to ensure a serene transition for clients between manicure stations, pedicure zones, and drying areas without disrupting the operational workflow of the technicians. To address these requirements, we executed a comprehensive technical solution starting with design engineering and the development of high-precision shop drawings to ensure ergonomic efficiency at every service point. Our team conducted intensive prototyping and multi-material integration, merging moisture-resistant surfaces with the spa’s signature wood-grain finishes to achieve long-term durability and material uniformity. Our fixture fabrication focused on creating modular service counters and bespoke display logic for retail products, all featuring integrated ventilation and power management. Every component underwent rigorous quality control and pre-shipment inspection to guarantee flawless installation. By managing the project from engineering through to final delivery, we provided Heartwood Nail Spa with an optimized interior where the storage systems are seamlessly hidden and the display logic is intuitive. The final result is a professional, high-performance environment that delivers a cohesive brand experience and an improved service flow for both staff and guests.
