Within such a service-oriented retail environment, the primary spatial challenges typically involve managing complex workflow logistics—specifically the integration of professional brewing equipment within a streamlined service counter—while ensuring a high level of seating comfort and spatial efficiency. In a bustling café setting, the typical tension lies in maintaining an intuitive navigation flow for both quick-service customers and those seeking a relaxed stay, all while requiring high-durability furniture capable of withstanding high-frequency use and humidity. To meet these specific requirements, we translated Café Moon’s brand vision into a functional physical environment through rigorous design engineering and the development of comprehensive shop drawings. Our team focused on fabricating bespoke counter systems and modular shelving that integrate hidden technical interfaces for electrical and plumbing needs, ensuring a clutter-free aesthetic. During the fixture fabrication phase, we prioritized material unity by selecting finishes that evoke a natural, warm atmosphere while meeting food-grade durability standards.
